KWUR 90.3 FM is the University’s completely student-run freeform non-commercial radio station. KWUR’s pre-orientation program seeks to immerse incoming freshmen in the alternative campus and St. Louis music communities as well as integrate them into the KWUR community. Participants will receive all the training necessary to be eligible for their own radio show in the fall semester (instead of going through the normal semester-long training process). The program will also include music-related trips around the greater St. Louis area. This program is intended for students who are serious about becoming DJs and participating in radio throughout college.
