Get a behind the scenes peek at Wash U's premier, student-run television station, WUTV22, before the year starts. Get to know the Wash U campus and the area surrounding it early – before every other freshman arrives and the mad rush begins. While enjoying the college experience, you will have the opportunity to develop, produce, and star in your own original show to be played on WUTV. The station is housed in a new space on the top floor of the Danforth University Center, and is loaded with the highest quality equipment on the market. With hands-on learning, find out how to use the camera, editing, and post-production equipment. Also, visit a local television station and see the inner workings of the real-life broadcast media world. In addition to learning more about broadcast media, you’ll get acquainted with upperclassmen who can help you with any questions you may have about WUTV or just college in general. Make new friends who have similar interests and goals while having a great time; one night will even be devoted to playing a fun game and St. Louis classic called Demo ball. Don’t get lost in a sea of faces; with lots of staff members per participant you’ll get individual attention and your ideas will be heard. Only 25 students max, so sign up early and bring your own ideas about what television should be to WUTV: UNCENSORED! For more information visit our website at http://wutv.wustl.edu/preo!!
