On campus housing for transfer students is very limited. If you would like to live off campus in University owned housing, you should contact Quadrangle Housing, Wash U’s affiliated management company. When calling Quadrangle Housing make sure to tell them you are a new Transfer to Wash U.
Finally, you can contact Wash U’s Apartment Referral Service for referrals to local realtors and rental properties.
You can access information about all of the above services by going to http://reslife.wustl.edu and clicking on the appropriate links.
Fact: Most underclassmen live on the South Forty in what are called “Residential Colleges”: these ResColleges pair a freshman residence hall with an upperclassman residence hall. While some juniors and seniors live on “the South Forty”, others live either on the “North Side” of campus (The Village, Village East, and Millbrook Apartments) or in University apartments owned by ResLife (Greenway, Rosedale, University Drive, Waterman Courts, and Unversity Terrace). For more information about living with Res Life, please contact them at 314-935-5050 or resinfo@restech.wustl.edu
